Let it be Love

Yes, I can do all of these things but maybe my mind is making this all up. Maybe I am the only thing that really exists. Maybe I’m in a coma and my brain is making this all up. Or maybe I don’t even exist like I appear here. I may just be a brain in a vat. This brain that is me is fabricating all of my surroundings, including you and how my body appears here. There is really no way to prove I exist as I believe I do but that doesn’t stop me from believing that I , in fact, do exist. It’s the same way with God, I can’t prove that He does exist but that doesn’t keep me from believing, wholeheartedly that He is my savior.

I would argue that the strong belief in God is just a type of faith that is no different than any other faith.
How so?
When you have faith in anything, say a person’s research for example, you can’t be one hundred percent certain┬áthat said person recorded or experimented honestly.
So you aren’t certain that God exists?

So far I have asked you very few questions. I think it’s time the tables turn and I question you. What do you believe?
Well I believe that faith is foolish, as we have discussed previously. I believe in science and proof. If you could prove to me, beyond a doubt, that God does exist, I would believe but, as of yet, no one has been able to show me that proof.
