Life After Death and Taxes

Benjamin Franklin in 1789 wrote a letter to Jean-Baptiste Leroy in which he said, “Our constitution is now established, and has the appearance that promises permanency; but in the world nothing can be said to be certain except death and taxes” (thisdayinquotes.com). We are impermanent creatures in a world where little is certain besides death and taxes. I believe, though, that there is a life after death and taxes that we can be certain of. Continue reading
