My Misadventures: Improperly Uploaded

Ok, lets just say that I didn’t buy into any of those religions, what makes Christianity different from the other two monotheistic religions?
Well, the major difference between Judaism and Christianity is Christ. Christians believe that Jesus was the Son of God, and that he came to save them from their sins. Jews believe that God has yet to come to earth and that Jesus was either just a good teacher or a falls profit. They believe in the first half of the Bible, which Christians call the Old Testament.
So are Jews going to your Heaven?
That is a tough question that I don’t believe I’m qualified to answer because I simply don’t know enough. Plus, who am I to say who goes to Heaven and who does not?

Continued here. Back to the beginning.

Would you like to hear a scary story? Ok so I had a project due on the 16th and turned it in a day early. I rarely check my school email but did on the 21st. I realized I had an email from the professor. It said,”Your presentation needs to be in PowerPoint, Prezi, or some other presentation software format, not Word. Please resubmit your presentation.” Here is what happened. I finished my presentation in powerpoint late the night before it was due. I just wanted to be done with it so I saved it in the appropriate folder. I then went to upload the presentation but instead of selecting my presentation, I selected my research that was collected in a word document. I was so scared because I knew the presentation was not that great already, and I was afraid that he was going to count it late. I emailed him back and said that I would resubmit it and that I was hoping it wasn’t late but that I would understand if it was. He emailed back minutes later that he wouldn’t count it late. Yay! Not a scary story you say… if you were me it would have been. This is my last class at ICC and I just want to do well in it and keep my GPA high. So far, I’ve gotten all A’s and one stinking B that was an 89%. That made me so mad but I guess that’s a story for another time.

I have over 1,000 songs on my iPod so, occasionally, a song will start playing that I haven’t heard. Kid Heart by TODDZERO is one of those songs. A lot of times when this happens, I just skip the song and get to something I know, but not this time. I was immediately hooked by the song. I really liked that beat and the vocals.

Once I listened to the full song, I began to analyze the lyrics. I think that this song is about how this world takes us and changes us for the worst. “You took the kid heart I gave you on loan.” I think that the kid heart is innocence and the world takes that innocence and turns it to stone or corrupts it. “We’re all going around the sun. But some get older than some.” Everyone is exposed to opportunities to give up their kid hearts but some go farther than others. “Gotta get back to your kid heart.” While you can never again become innocent, you can straighten up your ways and walk a righteous path once more. “Remember who you are kid heart, before you go to far kid heart.” Look past who you’ve become and get back to where you started. The next part of the song about the seed and the weeds reminds me of the parable of the weeds in Matthew 13:24-30; 36-43. Overall, I think this song tells us that we need to get back to our innocent and righteous paths before we go too far. I really like the song and am going to start looking into more songs by TODDZERO.
